Your project is unique, so you should put it in a unique bag!
The Obi bags are particularly unique, as they use second-hand obi from Japan! Obi are the gorgeous belts used to decorate women's kimono. I purchased this obi on a visit to Kyoto in March 2016. It was a gorgeous navy backed obi with a wave pattern on the front in the colour of flames, which you can seen in the middle of the navy on this bag. In all of my shopping for obi, I have never seen two alike, so each of the pieces in my shop are only available in strictly limited quantities. They are also all slightly different - even from the same obi, so you will have a truly unique piece with any of the bags.
All of my bags are fully-lined (no raw edges), and has been interfaced so that it is sturdy during use - it will stand up on it's own, even without yarn to support it!
This bag is designed to hold small projects; bags of this size comfortably hold a pair of two-at-a-time mittens, socks, or bulky slippers. Best used with up to 200g of lace through worsted-weight yarn.
Bag measurements are approximately: 6" long (not including handle) (15.3 cm), 5" wide (13 cm), and 4" high (10 cm).
These are sewn by me in Cochrane, Alberta, Canada. There is a tab so that it's an easy open and close bag!
Please be aware that colours may vary between monitors. Due to the handmade nature of this product the pattern may vary on the bag you received.
